Week 9 Question

Why should a Piedmont voter mark your name?

I am a California Department of Justice civil rights attorney, UC Berkeley public policy lecturer, and mom to two PHS students. As a 20-year Piedmont resident, volunteer, former President of the League of Women Voters of Piedmont, and current Recre- ation Commissioner, I understand the issues that matter most to our community.

I am committed to a safe, well-governed Piedmont—protecting our community, being responsible with taxpayer dollars, and making transparent, informed decisions that preserve community values while preparing responsibly for the future.

Throughout my campaign, I have been deeply touched by the kindness and support I have received from new and old friends. I am also grateful for the endorsements I have received from Piedmont’s entire City Council and School Board, nine former mayors, retired Police Chief Jeremy Bowers, and dozens of Piedmont community leaders and neighbors.

If elected, I will put my experience in government and public policy to work to get results for our community. I will listen, do my homework, and make thoughtful, educated decisions, always keeping Piedmont’s best interests at heart.

I would be honored to have your vote and to serve as your Councilmember.
